    Course Description

    The Safety File Development Course provides comprehensive, practical training on the development, implementation, and management of a legally compliant Safety File in the South African construction environment.

    Aligned with South African legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85 of 1993) and the Construction Regulations (2014, as amended), and guided by SACPCMP expectations and industry best practices, this course equips safety professionals with the competence to compile inspection-ready safety files for clients, principal contractors, and contractors.

    Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of general HSE principles, including construction health and safety law, risk management, incident management, inspections, audits, and reporting. The course focuses specifically on translating that knowledge into proper safety file documentation and control.
